Important Day for ADA Restoration Act
The ADA restoration Act is in the news this week once again. Thanks to negotiations between the disability and business communities, two committees in the US House of Representatives are acting today on the bill.
According to a report on NPR’s Morning Edition, it is expected that the legislation will be on the fast track through the House and Senate thanks to strong support from both the Democrats and Republicans. The NPR report suggests that the goal is to get this legislation to President Bush in time for a possible ceremony at the White House on July 26th where he would sign it. The date is obviously significant as it will be the 18th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act
